Critical to any network updates, that being of new or updated equipment is the network implementation and deployment stage. Devoteam can assist or take on total project for network equipment providers or telecom operators with the task of implementing equipment in the network and migrating customers onto the new equipment. Typically this service will succeed the “System Integration and Verification service” but the fact that the two activities are run by the same supplier will yield many advantages in terms of risk reductions and smooth transition of services in the network. The service can be tailored to specific needs but typically Devoteam will take full, autonomous responsibility for the activities, including: • Site preparations • Acceptance tests / Health checks • Network Design • Implementation planning • Migration planning • Project Management and reporting Network Implementation and Deployment assignments are typically done on a managed services type contract but can also be offered as a T&M based service (typically excluding the planning and project management parts of the project)
